Prior to joining Alimonti Law Offices, P.C. Mr. Walsh practiced law as a litigation associate in the Aviation Department of two prominent New York City law firms - Haight, Gardner, Holland & Knight and Mendes & Mount, L.L.P. Mr. Walsh assisted in all aspects of aviation product liability and wrongful death defense, including trial preparation, depositions, expert witness preparation, NTSB investigation and hearing preparation, motion and brief writing, military and airline operations consultation, and research. Mr. Walsh brings an extensive aviation background to his legal career. From 1975 to 1984, Mr. Walsh served in the United States Navy, including Lieutenant Commander/Naval Aviator. For several years, Mr. Walsh was Captain of a Boeing 737 for the People Express Airlines. From 1988 to the present, Mr. Walsh has served as Captain of various aircrafts, including Boeing 767/757/727 and MD-80, for American Airlines on both domestic and international flights. Mr. Walsh’s other aviation experience includes airline transport pilot, flight engineer for a Turbojet, and 2500 hours of military flying. He has accumulated over 8500 hours PART – 121 airline experience. Mr. Walsh received a Bachelor of Science in Operations Analysis from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in 1975. The following year, he received a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University. Mr. Walsh received his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1989. He is currently a member of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. Mr. Walsh is admitted to the Bars of New York and New Jersey.
