Prior to joining Alimonti Law Offices, P.C. in early 2004, Ms. Fahey practiced law in the corporate department of the multi-service firm Schenck, Price, Smith, & King, LLP. Ms. Fahey represented clients in forming and modifying corporations, LLCs, and other business entities and counseled corporate management in implementing employment policies and avoiding employment litigation. She also performed extensive litigation support, including writing legal documents and assisting litigation partners with trial preparation. From 1992-1994, Ms. Fahey worked as a research assistant at the Law Offices of Tibby Blum, where she prepared immigration petitions and permanent visa applications and researched and developed “Non-immigrant Visa and the Entertainment Industry” for presentation at Fordham University School of Law Symposium. Ms. Fahey also brings a business background to her legal career. From 1986-1991, she worked as a Senior Staff Officer at Citicorp, where she was responsible for coordinating all aspects of internal and customer-related functions for the corporation’s domestic real estate group and was the recipient of the Citicorp Service Excellence Award for increasing productivity. Ms. Fahey received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1986, and a Masters of Business Administration from Fordham University Graduate School of Business in 1991. In 1994, Ms. Fahey earned her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she served on the Litigation Skills Seminar committee and was appointed to Business Editor and Staff Member of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal. Ms. Fahey authored “Test of a Taking: An Analysis of the Cable Act’s 1984 ‘Mandatory Access’ Provision” in 1993. Ms. Fahey is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States Supreme Court. |
