Having first worked with is on a part-time basis while in law school, Ms. Posner joined Alimonti Law Offices, P.C., on November 1, 2002 as a full-time associate. 

Ms. Posner completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science and a minor in psychology from John Hopkins University (’99) in Baltimore, Maryland.  Thereafter, she attended law school at St. John’s University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctrine in 2002.  Ms. Posner is admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and to the federal bars of Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

In law school, Ms. Posner was an editor of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary and authored “Temporary Workers Allowed to Join the Unions:  A Critical Analysis of the Impact of the M.B. Sturgis Decision,” 16 St. John’s J. Legal Comment. 489 (2002).  Throughout her studies, Ms. Posner worked as a law clerk for the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC) and Harris Beach, LLP.

Ms. Posner also co-authored “Aviation Product Liability Update: Case-Law Outline” which was presented at the 2002 ABA Section of Litigation Aviation Litigation Seminar held in New York for Continuing Legal Education credits.  She recently co-authored “Who’s in Charge Here Anyway? Ethical Issues when Representing an Insured.”  This paper and the accompany presentation have been approved for legal ethics credits in New York, Texas, and Georgia, as well as for insurance licensing credits in Texas and Georgia.  Alimonti Law Offices, P.C. will be presenting this paper throughout 2003.

Ms. Posner is currently admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut bars and is awaiting admission to the District of Columbia bar.
