For Immediate Release

Alimonti Law Offices, P.C. and Husch Blackwell Sanders, LLP Announce Strategic Alliance

Alimonti Law Offices is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Husch Blackwell Sanders, LLP that will provide its clients with a more accessible, efficient and effective aviation litigation defense practice across the U.S. Alimonti Law Offices is a NY-based “boutique” firm emphasizing Aviation Litigation, and Husch Blackwell Sanders is a national full-service law firm with an extensive aviation practice. This combined aviation practice group will be spearheaded by Rick Alimonti (New York), Christa Hinckley (Dallas), and Tom Dahlk (Omaha).

Husch Blackwell’s strength in Midwestern and Mid South markets, as well as its Chicago, Denver, and Washington, D.C. offices, will enhance Alimonti Law Offices’ nation-wide presence. This increase in Alimonti Law Offices’ geographic scope, and the access to Husch Blackwell’s attorneys and offices, will significantly facilitate its handling capacity for cases of greater depth, scope and geographic reach. In turn, Alimonti Law Offices’ New York City location gives Husch Blackwell major-market, east coast access to clients. Most importantly, the nature of this alliance will allow each firm to provide significant additional capabilities to its current and prospective clients.

Alimonti Law Offices was founded in March 2001 by Frederick (“Rick”) P. Alimonti in White Plains, New York; its primary office is in White Plains with a satellite office in lower Manhattan. Rick, a licensed pilot, has been active in aviation industry for over 19 years, handling cases from inception through trial. Since its launch, Alimonti Law Offices has focused its practice on serving the litigation needs of the aviation community and has grown to an internationally recognized team of lawyers and consultants. Alimonti Law Offices’ worldwide clients include national and international airlines, airport managers, flight schools, fixed base operators, general aviation owners, manufacturers, repair stations, charter operators and their respective insurers.

Rick Alimonti had the honor of presenting and moderating a panel on US Aviation Litigation at the Aon Aviation Insurance Conference in London on June 11, 2009 in London. Thereafter, Rick offered a similar presentation to select underwriters and brokers in Paris. While in London, Rick also presented on mediation tactics and techniques at a major insurance brokerage house.

Our Summer 2009 CLE offering is “Ethics in Settlement and Negotiation,” which is approved for 1.5 hours New York CLE credits. Rick Alimonti and Jeremy Hager have already shared this presentation with the Legal Department at a major airline client.

On the non-legal (as opposed to illegal!) side of things, Wings & Wheels 2009 is set for September 19th and 20th at Teterboro Airport. Rick is pleased to be a co-chair once again. This year’s featured aircraft include a B-17 Flying Fortress, and F-4U Corsair, a TBF Avenger, and a B25 Mitchell. Contact the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum for more information. (201) 288-6344. See “Off the Record” for photos of last year’s record-breaking event.
